Surviving Chennai

Hi everyone!!! Yes yes.... I'm alive and back to "blog-life". You can see that its been more than a year since I posted anything. Don't ask me what I did all these months, 'cause I've no idea what to say! This is my first post this new year, so I'm gonna keep it small.

By the way, I'm not in college anymore( I feel relieved!). I'm a working woman now( he he he :P) seriously, I'm not kidding. I'm living in Chennai which is a very interesting place except for 3 things "Water, Weather and Tax".

I love being in Chennai, it has big malls, beautiful streets, and esp KFC(luv the chicken there), the more I explore this place the more I fall for it. Its a big city, unlike my hometown so there are lots of places for me to hang out with my friends and to shop. I brought my scooter from my hometown, so whenever I ride it I feel like I am a free bird.(Wow! Its a lovely feeling).

But I wonder how people live in Chennai during Summer! You'll feel like you are sitting on the sun.Its just March and it is pretty hot and I can't imagine how it is going to be in May.Needless to say about the water here, its bad(always bad).

My lifestyle has changed now, I'm living with my friends in a flat and I control my own expenses. I was longing for this kinda life. Sometimes this is fun and sometimes it sucks :) I miss home sometimes but life in this big city is exciting everyday.

I 'll keep you posted with my thrilling new life. And I'm gonna catch up with all my blog-buddies. I've missed you all.. see ya soon :)

My heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. I sincerely pray that such a horrible thing never happens again.

Hiiiiiii! I'm Back! Sorry for no prior notice for my long absence!

All these weeks I just violated my engineering ethics! I was studying.... oops.. solving Maths, day and night with a group of five. For almost three weeks we slept only for 5 hours a day. We all worked till our batteries go dead! But it was all fun :P

I was actually preparing for an interview because of campus recruitments. Tcs - Tata Consultancy Services a huge software company came to our campus on 12th & 13th Feb to recruit freshers(Thats us).

Everyone expect me was crazy about it. I worked hard to clear the 1st round which is the aptitude round but the test was too tough and I never thought I would get in. But unfortunately I cleared all the rounds and got a job in TCS !! I still can't figure out why GOD gives me somethings I never ask him!!!!! And I have no idea why I'm not thrilled about my job!

So this is the reason why I disappeared all these days. Other than this Shock everything is pretty good here.

So whats up ? Hows life?? Did I miss anything?? I'm gonna quicken pace from now!

A New List !

Happy Friday! I guess many in this world love Fridays... which symbolizes the freedom of our exhausting week :) So any plans this weekend?? I have not yet planned a thing.. but I wanna share few things that I learnt this week!

1. First of all, Sisters and Girl friends are difficult to understand(trust me, I can never please my sister).

2.I spend too much money on Hand Bags and Sneakers.

3.Sitting in a place for a very long time(esp my classroom) creates a big pain in my A** .

4.I can never become a Math geek!

5.I am irrevocably in love with PARIS.

6.Last but not the least, my pictures look good in camera but not in my system :(

So this is all I can figure out this New Year! And I am happy to know that many hate Maths just like me :P.

My New Challenge

Happy Sunday everyone! How was your first week of this New Year?? I spent whole week in college... and it sucked as usual(okay, I'm not gonna talk about that).

I terribly miss my little blog world. And I have received a worst news this week. Software companies are gonna recruit the FRESHERS(thats me) from FEB 12th. This created a Whirlpool in my stomach and I guess that is never gonna end. I am poor in math and I have to learn from scrap. Its like I must turn into a Math Geek within a month :( Oh god!! That is really frustrating!

My First Challenge this new year is to digest two math books within 30 days! And all I need now is a MIRACLE. Trust me, I can never remember the multiplication tables and I detest Division. So during my Break I am gonna blog, or else I will be dead! My upcoming post might be about anything stupid.. and I kindly request you to say whatever you feel.

Best of luck to all the final year students of Engineering college. And I will catch up with you guys soon. Wish me luck I desperately need it.

Welcome 2010!!!

Hi everyone!! I guess everybody had a splendid Christmas. I was stuck at home with no internet and just CAKES!!! So obviously I had the most delicious Christmas ever! My Mom received three huge boxes of cakes and one was Black forest! Me ,"The Kitchen Hunter" emptied all the boxes in almost 3 days! YUMMMMM!!

I am glad that 2009 will be gone in few hours and I welcome 2010 with a big heart. 2009, you were a big big big pain! The only good thing happened was my Brother's marriage and I had fun only on that week! I didn't make any New Year resolutions yet .. but I guess I will make one pretty soon.

I have no special plans for tomorrow. My Mom is in another State writing exams , my sister is in her hostel and my Dad is about 200 kms away from me . Its just me and my granny dumped in small town :( I dunno how I am going to survive this lonely 1st week of the New year without my friends and family :( But I am going to wake up tomorrow with a ray of hope!

Twilight Saga

Hi everyone.. how are you doing?? I'm doing good here.College is just the same, it gets worser day by day, but thats usual :) Now i have a good excuse for my long absence. Well I was completely immersed into the book "Twilight" and after finishing this, my curiosity level was raised to the peak :P so I brought the next book "New Moon" and started reading it and now I'm done with "Eclipse" too. I started this on Thursday and I never stopped turning pages until this evening. I have to admit that I'm addicted to it. Its like a drug to me :)

And now I'm gonna start "Breaking Dawn". The series is fascinating, I guess teenagers will love it. And I watched the movie too.. its again just as I expected.. and I added one more name to my crush list.. without doubts it is Robert Pattinson! I don't think I can help this silly feeling.

I guess I have kicked The Harry Potter series out of my mind after reading The Twilight Saga :P.

I guess I will be back after I'm done with "Breaking Dawn", or else I will break my head. And I will catch up with you guys pretty soon :) Have a happy week!!

Hi everyone!! Yes , I'm alive and lazy.I had a wonderful week and i have lots of things to share and I will do that pretty soon. And I guess I have done something incredible after a long time.. I have done 50 posts till now!!And Yes thats something BIG for me!!

A good and a bad news!

Hi everyone! I'm back and thanks for you supportive comments in my last post. Of course I screwed up my exams and I feel kinda great! After exams I thought I would be a free bird and fly away , but my college can't stand without me. I have some ridiculous classes and I'm stuck in my college till the end of MAY ! I can't come out of that cage till then. Okay no more sad stories!

The good news is today is my Sister's Birthday.. oh yeah she is the sweetest devil I have ever seen! I can't believe that she has turned 18. I have been with her for so many years?? That's really UNBELIEVABLE.

She is far away from me and I miss her badly. I miss the fights, arguments and "The sister talks" we do at nights. Hey SNEHA, you are the sweetest and the most troublesome sister anyone can have. Thanks for being troubling me and I'm very bored without you here. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I miss you too much!!

Terrible Xams!

Hi everyone!! Yes still I'm alive and I'm surviving the exams. Four exams are over and I feel like I have touched heaven. There is one more exam left and that is on Friday. I screwed up all the four papers :P and I'm not at all worried about it .

I was surfing the net for some reason two days back and I got this funny little poem about exams. Here it comes...

Xams are there,

At the paper you stare,

The answer is nowhere,

Which makes you pull your hair,

The teachers make you glare,

The grades are not fair,

But just like the past 20 years,

WE DON'T CARE!!!

Its true isn't?? Each and every line makes me just laugh and this is the situation all the engineering students meet in their examination hall ! :)

I'm preparing for my exams with my friends(because I will dream about very bad things when I'm alone) and all we do is flip pages like this

Exams and Hugs!

Hi everyone, I really missed you all! I had a wonderful "STUDY VACATION". Honestly I didn't touch my books;I was dancing, singing , jumping and talking! I had beautiful long weekends after a very long time and the last three days in my village was really exciting! When ever I go to my hometown I fell so refreshed and happy.

The problem is I didn't feel like studying at all (when did I ever feel so in my life?) My exams start on Monday and I'm still doing all other works, other than opening book!

So how are you guys doing?? Anything interesting things happened these two weeks? I have to tell you that I will be a bit replying to your posts.

Hi guys! How are you all doing?? i'm having a busy week here with my exams around the corner. I decided to take a break from everything and start studying!!

Having said that, i'm going to my native place and going to stay there for the next two weeks. Hope i complete atleast half of the portions before my exams start.
I'm really going to miss you all for a few days. And I'm going to miss my blog till my exams get over.

Hi everyone! How was your weekend? I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Mine was the best weekend I ever had. It was too much fun and this Diwali was one of the best.

My friend Dexter wrote a small poem about color pencils. He is a good writer but is lazy and never writes. After a very long time he did a good job thinking about writing this sweet poem. Here it is

Room, Diwali and Chocolates

Hi guys! At last its Friday! My Diwali preparation are going on in a full swing! I have almost completed all the work I had to do, but still I'm not satisfied with the condition of my room. I'm trying to have a room like this,

But i can't get even a bit of its beauty*sigh*. I love this theme, its white and the wall is filled with paintings. I'm obsessed about rooms with large windows!

Tomorrow morning I have to wake up as soon as possible and wear a new dress, do some rituals and then distribute sweets to all my friends and cousins. I love doing this job because I roam the whole Pondicherry in my scooter to distribute sweets, and its lots of fun! Even tough I can have some fun and all , I miss my DAD so much. He is far from us and alone and doing his COP job! I can't believe that he is so much workaholic!

Two days I and my younger brother will burst crackers the whole night till we empty all the boxes and its just going to be a noisy and sparkling night. Moreover I have made a BIG WISH LIST to God. I hope he fulfills half of them.

And one more thing, my sister gave me an amazing gift for this Diwali, its CADBURY'S CELEBRATIONS and FRUIT N NUT.

I simply adore both because they have NUTS, they drive me crazy. I think this is the best thing she has ever done in ages :P

The festival of lights

Hi everyone! How are you guys doing? At last my headache is over! My exams went just fine and i never believed that I will have an easy time solving my exam puzzles! Now I have a month's time as preparation holidays! At least, I can blog regularly.

And I'm pretty excited because it's Time for a Grand Celebration! It's DIWALI - The festival of Lights. This is one of the most prosperous festival. On this day, people wear new clothes and light the diya(earthen lamp) and pray to God for having a prosperous.

What I like in Diwali is that, I can add few outfits into my closet and i will burst crackers till I'm tired of it :) Why do we burst crackers ? The sound of the firecrackers is heard by the Gods and this lets them know that the people in earth are happy and prosperous!

The festival is day after tomorrow and I have to start cleaning my room and buy something new and decorate my room and think about a wish to make on that day!(hmmm.. I wish I had a boy friend for a few days who would help me do all these things :P)

I had the busiest weeks ever! I had no time to even text my friends or chat with them, I was filling my record pages and writing assignments and I did all the work that an engineering student will do! I have never spent two weeks so fast! I’m really sorry for not visiting your blogs; I will do that pretty soon. I wanted to do something to keep me blogging regularly, and I don’t know how to do that, somebody help me to do that!

I have no idea what to post now, so I’m going to post some silly, please forgive me for that! I have read a book recently which has this opening poem,

I find this petite opening poem very romantic! If you are a fan of Sidney Sheldon then you would have probably recognized it. I love to read books and I don’t sleep properly till I reach the end. The book becomes my world. And I’m a DIE HARD FAN OF SIDNEY SHELDON.

He is an amazing author and has written page-turning thrillers. In his books, the women plays the lead role and that’s something I love. Women in his books are bold, beautiful and very determined and know what they want. They are strong where they should be and are weak where they should be! And you will find some of your traits in the women in his books and that keeps you reading till the end.

I read his book RAGE OF ANGELS and I have to tell you I couldn’t stop thinking about the lady Jennifer Parker, in that book. I also had strange dreams about her. If you are a girl I suggest you to read Sidney Sheldon’s books! Some people say they are bored of his books, but I always find them breath taking! Some of his books that I loved are TELL ME YOUR DREAMS, MASTER OF THE GAME, RAGE OF ANGELS, WIND MILLS OF GODS and ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK?

I'm An Addict

I asked my mom “Are you addicted to anything?” she replied “no dear.. Nothing”. I asked me sister the same Question and she replied the same. And I asked a friend of mine the same Q .. and he answered “internet”. And I’m glad to have a partner because I’m an addict, a Seasonal addict to be honest! My addiction keeps changing every season and this season it is two things..

1.Coffee

I love to make my coffee.. I won’t say that I make a good coffee and I have no idea that someone else will like it .. but I love my coffee.. with little sugar and the right quantity of coffee power , I enjoy every sip till the end of my cup! It really relaxes my mind and kills my time.. I have my coffee when I’m home alone. But I used to hate coffee long back.. it was my friend who made me to fall in love with it.

2.Coca Cola

Coming to coke….. I don’t know from whom I burrowed this addiction. My Sundays are empty with out coca cola. They really brighten up my lunch, it’s like a way to heaven for my stomach!

They both are driving me crazy and I really love being so .. Can’t help to get them out of my mind!

And this is a big issue to my mother. She hates coffee and coke.. She says both are not good for health and this becomes a minor issue if I drink any one of them …. Well I have to ask you guys this Q.. “Is it bad being an addict??”

As I said I’m a seasonal addict, my list keeps changing.. Last time it was books and mobile texting and I don’t know what’s going to be next…

A temple Visit!

Hi everyone!! I missed everyone this week. Sorry for becoming an awful blogger. I had a lousy week and I spent the whole week writing assignments and tests … aggrrrr hated to do that!

I want to share one of my best moments in my life that happened long back! I went to “GANGAIKONDA CHOLAPURAM” a temple near KUMBAKONAM in SOUTH INDIA, along with my friends. It was one of the wonderful things that happened in my life! The temple was so calm and peaceful unlike “THE BRIHADESHWARA TEMPLE” in Tanjore.It is one of the most famous temples in India. This temple is dedicated to LORD SHIVA and is built by Rajendra Cholan I during 11th century.

We were stunned looking at the architecture and the greenery. First we made our small wish to GOD and then we went all around the temple taking pictures, running around the well, playing and sitting under those huge trees! It was 6, so the climate was pretty good and we had seen the best sunset, the sun was hiding among the tall coconut trees.

We never had the heart to leave that place. We were admiring the beauty of it till the moment we left and then we started for our home!

I am sorry I couldn’t take clear pictures because it was already sunset when we reached! (you will enjoy the pictures when its enlarged.. so just click them)....

Things never go the way I planned. I have planned the best weekend ever. I was dreaming the whole week about this… I wanted to go to shopping in “LIFESTYLES” and buy good heels and denim and watch the movies PUBLIC ENEMIES and KAMINEY in I-NOX CHENNAI.

So I left Pondicherry early morning at 5.45 and reached Chennai at 9. The climate was VERY ROMANTIC! And I was in cloud nine because I can have a TAN-FREE shopping!

But as I said “Things never go the way I planned”. I was glued to some stupid work and all my dreams were shattered. I felt so depressed and I felt like shouting at everybody who was responsible for this.

I reached home Sunday morning. I really thought I would have a WONDERFUL SATURDAY but it ended up like the most DISGUSTING weekend with some people irritating me to the core!

I was very upset with this incident but my mom helped me to come out of this. She took me to the movie KAMINEY. That was a suprise!I never thought she would do this. I was so happy that I had fun with her. The movie was good.

I liked it and SHAHID was incredible in it. If you are a great fan of SHAHID and PRIYANKA you better try this. I was expecting some more from the director. It showed the real face of Maharashtra.

The Fantasy World

I always loved the Fantasy world or the weird world .. I know that its just myth.. It can never happen even if the world turns upside down.. Yet I love to be in that! Especially the MEN in that world are hot and the center of attraction!

One such world is the X-MEN.

I loved X-men … Humans or mutants gifted with various powers. And the thought the some can control anything with they help of their mind just thrilled me! It was weird for me when I first saw the movie but I liked it. And the I liked Hugh Jackman !!This movie made me develop a crush on him. He was Hot!

The next in the list is HARRY POTTER.

Who would not love Harry potter, his friends, his school, his wand, his broomstick and last but not the least his owl?? ?? my dad hates this movie but I had a big crush on Daniel Radcliffe as soon as I watched this movie.. But I didn’t understand a thing when I watched the movie for the 1^st time. I never missed its sequel, but I watched for Tom Felton not Daniel!!! And I love the magic world!!

The next to hit the list is THE MATRIX

Men in leather jackets and goggles with guns and fighting with machines to save their world!! It was good!! I Liked THE ONE, who can fly, fight, and love and save the world. It’s a good action, romantic, and a miracle movie!

I can’t forget THE LORD OF THE RINGS.

It’s the movie that I watched for more than 100 times. Talking trees (ENTS), Unicorn, Elves, Hobbits, Wizards, Orcs , Goblins and Human all in one world. It sounds a bit adventurous for me and I simply love it.” ONE RING TO RULE THEM ALL!!” I like that line too !

THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA

You can go to another part of the world through a Wardrobe and become a king and a Queen and you if you have time you can also fall in love with a prince .. hmm.. interesting life.. I kinda liked it. But I watched this movie more than 10 times just for the sake of Aslan ( the lion) .

THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

A huge ship, a smart Captain who loves RUM, the blue Ocean and a thrilling life! You don’t know when you will be attacked or who you can trust! All you have to do it.. “Take everything you can and give back nothing”! We know that pirates are bad but still something in our heart says we love that ship!

In this list of “Fantasy World” , I choose X-Men. Because I wish I have some powers and fly a jet and be a school teacher and date a hot guy like Wolverine!

How to love yourself

Oh,Mishka inspired me by her post “How to love yourself”. I followed every word she said, and it really helped me to make me love myself. You have to take a notebook and keep writing about things that you are good at doing. And if you find some silly don’t give a second thought about it and just write that. Don’t care if your list is long, this makes you think positive about you will surely fall in love with you. When ever you feel down about you, just do this! You will start seeing the other side of “YOU”.

I love to make coffee everyday.

I can finish an 800 pages book in a day!

I don’t wear make up.

I love my long hair and it makes me feel good.

I listen to other people‘s sorrow.

I can travel very long distances alone and that doesn’t bore me at all.

I can text up to 1000 messages a day.

I’m not a Home-Bird.

I love to write and I don’t care how long it takes.

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY MY DEAR FRIENDS!! I thank all my friends who were very supportive to me … and thanks my lovely blog mates , because you help my blog to shine with your wonderful comments!! This friendship band is to all my friends around the world! I Love all you guys.

And tomorrow is my Mom’s Birthday!!! She is going to be 42. I have already gave you an introduction about me mom. (Click her to look at that post) I have a surprise for her and I think she will like it!!

She is in her forties and her skin shines everyday and I still cant understand the trick how she keeps herself fit and updated! I have one of the best and the caring Mom in the whole world and I’m very proud of that!! Thanks Mom for being so wonderful... I Love you so much!!

I have a gr8 news to share with everyone!! My DAD is going to hit half century! He is going be 50 in few minutes and there is going to be a huge party. Me and my family is quite excited about this and so is he!

Day by day he grows old but I feel like he is still young inside!! He thinks twice before he takes any step and he is very calculative in things! My dad is a cop and so he is kinda strict … but sometimes he melts and becomes a baby!!

The one habit I admire about him is the way he reads paper! He is simply superb!!

Mom and Me

Our Mother is always our best friend. We share our secrets, we play, we seek for some advice and we help each other and they are always like our best friends in life! And even I m very close to my mother and I almost share everything with her. Even though we are best friends, there are some things that she hates and I love. And this makes me sick!

Let me list out her “The things I love and the things she hates”

I ‘m “nocturnal” just like an owl or I can also say as I’m a “late sleeper and late riser”. I love to sleep late at nights and wake up late in the mornings.. but she hates when I do this.. Everyday there will be an argument about this . Its like “Look at your eyes! You look sick like some diseased person”. And I say “Mom will you cut it”??

The Next thing in the list is “HEELS”. I go mad when I see any heels. And she hates them as much as I love. She thinks that heels bring backbone pain … and I’m 5foot7inches so .. “NO HEELS ALLOWED”!

And next comes “The hair issue”. She like long hair and I always wanted to try new hair styles for my hair but she does want any experiments on my hair. To maintain long hair is "The toughest job" in the world. I have to wash every alternate day and brush it regularly. If I want to trim my hair I have to ask permission and make sure that I don’t do any stupid experiments on it.

I adore sitting in front of computers and playing games. She says that “You waste time in front of that IDIOT BOX”.

Expect for these issues, we have no problem with each other. We both are clean freaks and also fashion freaks! And I thank God that she accepts my craziness over Johnny Depp and allows me to watch his movie every time its telecast . And I want to say that, she is the only person who cares a lot about me, and so I give up some things…

My hell is back!

My hell days are back! Oh yes!! I feel hell from morning 8.30 AM to 4.30 PM. Everybody enjoys their college life but why not me?? Frankly I consider my college as a perfect “shit hole”. All my theory classes are spent scribbling something in my note books which are not worth anything! I’m just wasting paper and ink. I thought I would enjoy my last year of my college life having lots of fun and getting a bit close with all my classmates and lecturers , but I think this will never be possible!

It has just a couple of weeks since my college has reopened and there is lots of “COLD WAR”going on between girls (some creatures never change). I always wanted to know one thing, “why can’t the jealousy level for any girl come down?” Even the lecturers get jealous of students if they are pretty! And why cant boys start being matured in thoughts and mind their own business without backbiting??

Recently, some crap has been introduced in our RULES. “Rupees 50 fine for anyone who is taking a leave without permission.” If we are taking leave tomorrow, we have to get permission today and have to get our leave letters signed. This is possible at times. But how do we know that we will get diarrhea before? This is a biggest problem I face most of the time!

One of my friends was busy with some work and she didn’t make it to college, so the next day she was standing outside the class for almost 2 ½ hours and she paid 50 bucks for these morons who call themselves lecturers. This is ridiculous!! I see hell every day and every minute! I find no fun or any peace of mind!

And these days I’m hanging out with my assignments, observations and project reviews! Life is so dark without my books, movies, mobile texting and blogs!!

I want to write lots about my college’s idiotic stuff (I have written a bit about that, have a look here)… but I can’t do it now... I have my own reasons! I hope that this period of hell gets over soon and I start my beautiful life!!! Have a great weekend darlings!

P.S. I have one good news! My sister is having lots of fun in college and I’m very happy about it. She is enjoying here life too the core!

1. The songs in 90’s were gr8! It was romantic and anybody can sing the songs without checking for the correct lyrics! These days in songs, music is given more importance than lyrics!

2. I miss my joint family and all my friends next door!

3. My drawing class was the best thing happened in my life! I still have my drawing books from my 5^th grade till 8^th grade! Anandraj Sir I miss u!

4. My mom’s sweet words,” You are just a kid to use those face creams”.

5. Freedom was known to me by my bicycle.. it is something I miss the most!

I have got a news to share! My sister is leaving me for four years because she got into one reputed institution called SASTRA UNIVERSITY. That’s one of the best universities in India. She will be 230 kilometers away from me. And I‘m going to miss her terrible. These are few Questions that popped into my head as soon as I heard this sweet news.

Who will be there to fight with me?

Who will hit me back when I hit them?

Who is there to share their new shirts and tops with me?

Who will be there to talk with me at late nights?

And with whom will I discuss about men and movies?

Oh god! Its going to be too tough for me to be normal! And my mom and dad are worried about her hostel life, because she has never been so far away from home. My sleeping secret!

Hello friends.. I have a to tell about “The book that made me sleep”…… I’m a bookaholic. Honestly reading a book is the only useful work I do! I love thrillers and recently I have fallen for romantic books! There is one book which I can never forget in my life even if I live for a 100 years(I wish I don’t), its “Hannibal”!

One fine morning after a bath I started this book and after an hour I realized that I’ve dozed off, and I realized that “the book was my pillow”. I have no idea how this happened. So I started to read the book again the next day and the same thing happened. And this sleeping process continued 7 times! So I gave up reading the book! I have never felt towards any book like this before! I read even the driest in almost 3 days!

My friends said that is a very thrilling… and unusually I find it sleeping but not boring. The maximum pages I have read just 34 pages in "Hannibal". Frankly speaking , I had a gr8 sleep as soon as I read that book!!

Is there something wrong with me? Or is it something to do with the book?? Or is it with the author! .. I have no idea! So tell me dear friends, is there any such book in your life that made you sleep???

The days before Wedding

Wedding is considered as a festival in every Indian family. The place would be loaded with more than 1000 people and everybody are gathered to witness the holy ritual! And my brother’s wedding is considered as the” wedding of the decade”!

Our folks gathered 10 days before and each and everyday we did something new which fulfilled our heart. None was left alone and we never had time to feel our loneliness.

As soon as the sun rised we felt like a huge surprise is waiting for us to do something creative to make the wedding a grand success! And so we did.

In marriage “COOKING” is the one issue where everyone breaks their head! But we never had a chance to do that.

What did we do the days before wedding???

We got up early and we planned the menu for the breakfast! So the making of the “Puris” (one of the favorite dish in south India).This big work is divided into parts and everyone is engaged with some job.

These turned out to be the best puris ever tasted... they were so crispy!

My cousin – a gr8 chef in my family is doing some cooking!

My Aunt , she was in charge of the vegetables section

Look at the amount of onions!! oh god!! she is gr8 in cutting them fast.

The section of sweet and savories – look at the ladies making those golden balls!!

And this fellow was handling the “liquid section”. His main job was to take taken care of tea and coffee! Even in this snap you can see him with a tea flask .

Even the kids loved to work!

At regular intervals my uncle “The Entertainer” (who is a terrible dancer) with his funny moves made us laugh till our cheeks were in pain.

Even the dog had a job to do (sorry I can’t show you the other side of the dog, he never gave a chance to do it, if I take a chance he would bark).

Till evening we made our self busy with something and at nights we sat under trees and make fun of each other. Coconut trees are best place to take a cover.. Night outs are the most memorable parts during the wedding. The smarts and cutes gathered around, we talked and laughed and screamed and danced till we lost our energy and then hit bed ……. And we followed this routine till we left that place.

i enjoyed this wedding to the core! i still remember what i did each and everyday!! i ll surely show the wedding in my next post!

I had a wonderful week with my cousins in Chennai.. that’s why I couldn’t blog. I purchased some new outfits and a surprise gift for my mom! By blogging and visiting different blogs my interest towards photography has raised to the peak! So these days I have been clicking my camera wherever I go!

I’m not a good photographer of nature .. and I’m learning to take some pictures.. this has become my hobby!

life in the second stage

Hey guys!! its hard to stay away from blog for a long time. I'm sure i'l catch up with u guys soon.

Before i begin with another article, I want to thank u guys for posting such sweet comments, especially for the awards given to me. I loved every one of them expecially the 'Award for bringing a piece of sunshine to the world'. I want to give one award to all my blogger friends.. guess what?! Its the 'Award for being the best supporter'. Thats because guys, you encourage me a lot to share my life with you.

I came across an interesting picture in one of the mails forwarded to me. It was called the four stages of our life.

I think there's an interesting explanation to it.

Stage: 1

In the first stage we are children and start our life by drinking milk.

Stage: 2

This stage of life begins when we are at school and colleges.

Stage : 3

In this stage we know real life and start drinking bear and wine.

Stage: 4

This stage begins when we are old and this is about last stage of our life.

I cant help but laugh at the creator's imagination.. Isure want to be in the second stage all my life. What about you my friends??. where do you wanna be??

This time my holidays are really cool. Right now I'm in chennai, a busy city with crowded malls. As i told u, I got some great friends at my uncle's marriage. I'm staying in their home and having a great time here especially with two of my cousins Swetha and Sindhu.
